High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Must obtain Oklahoma driver’s license within thirty days of hire.
Description:

158-21 Apprentice Lineworker (Electric): Perform a variety of unskilled tasks to assist in the construction, maintenance and operation of underground and overhead electric systems. This position placement allows time for the entry-level employee to be evaluated to determine if the employee has a reasonable likelihood of success in the lineworker apprentice-training program. If promoted from this level, employee will enter the lineworker apprentice-training program as an Apprentice Lineworker. Work schedule: Four ten hour shifts per week, on-call rotation for after-hour outage response duties and may include overtime. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Must obtain Oklahoma driver’s license within thirty days of hire. Starting rate: $19.67 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits package.  A resume and completed City of Stillwater application are required for consideration. Closing date: 12/22/21
