(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / Aug. 6, 2019) – Stillwater City Council, Stillwater Utilities Authority and Stillwater Economic Development Authority met for their regular meetings on Monday, Aug. 5 in the Council Hearing Room at 723 S. Stillwater City Council

Public Hearings

  • d. Received public comment regarding a Text Amendment to the Form Based Code (CC-19-120)

General Orders

  • a. Approved the purchase of eight new patrol vehicles for the Police Department at a total cost of $201,522 from John Vance Auto (CC-19-115)

  • d. Approved alternative one regarding the FY20 Pavement Management Projects, authorized staff to begin selection of consultant for the 6th Avenue Active Transportation Corridor Study, and added Kameoka Trail to FY20 Pavement Management projects (CC-19-123)

Resolutions

  • b. Tabled and rescheduled a resolution authorizing and approving execution of an inter-local agreement with Payne County for routine maintenance of perimeter roads adjacent to City limits. Rescheduled for the Aug. 19 meeting (No. 2019-4)

Stillwater Utilities Authority

General Orders

  • a. Approved a professional services task order with CH2M Hill and authorize total project expenditures of $64,000 for work related to improving data backup and networking for Water Utilities and Water Utilities Engineering (SUA-19-31)

Stillwater Economic Development Authority

General Orders

  • a. Received Chamber of Commerce quarterly Economic Development Report
