(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / 11-13-2019) — A seventeen year old juvenile, Coryon Maryell Leray Thomas (Stillwater) has been charged with Murder in the First Degree, in the shooting death of twenty-six year old Mandrale Alexander Henry. Thomas has been charged as an adult. The shooting occurred early Sunday morning at a residence in southwest Stillwater.

Stillwater Police received a 911 call Sunday morning November 10, 2019, at 4:15 AM reporting the shooting at a residence in the 4100 block of W. Westbrook. The frantic caller told the operator her stepson had just shot her boyfriend. Coryon Thomas was taken into custody at the scene without incident by responding officers. The victim, Mandrale Henry, was transported from the scene to Stillwater Medical Center for treatment. The firearm used in the shooting, a shotgun, was recovered at the scene.
Thomas was living at the residence with his father’s ex-girlfriend and her four children. Mandrale Henry also lived at the residence. The four children were at the residence when this shooting occurred.

(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / 10-10-2019) — At 4:15 AM this morning Stillwater P.D. responded to a reported assault with a deadly weapon call in the 4100 block of W. Westbrook. Responding officers learned that a juvenile male had shot an adult male inside the residence. The victim was transported to Stillwater Medical Center for treatment. He later succumbed to his wounds and died. The juvenile suspect was taken into custody without incident and the gun used in the shooting was recovered at the scene. There were four other juveniles present in the residence at the time of the incident.
Investigation of this incident is still on-going. The name of the victim has not been released pending location and notification of his next-of-kin.
