(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / September 24, 2020) – Stillwater City Council will meet over videoconference for a special study session Monday, Sept. 28.
The meeting will be held over Zoom, a videoconference platform. Residents are encouraged to watch virtually, though the Council Hearing Room at the Stillwater Municipal Building (723 S. Lewis St.) will be open to the public. Face coverings are required in the Council Hearing Room and will be provided to residents upon entry.

The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be broadcast as usual. Residents can watch the meeting live on the City's Facebook Page (@CityOfStillwater), AT&T U-verse channel 99, Suddenlink channel 14 and the City of Stillwater’s YouTube Live link at youtube.com/c/CityofStillwaterTV/live.
In response to the COVID-19 virus and the ongoing social distancing guidance issued by President Trump, Governor Stitt, and national and state public health entities, amendments were made to the Open Meetings Act that allow for public bodies subject to the Open Meetings Act to hold “virtual meetings” via videoconference and teleconference.
