(STILLWATER, OK) – The City of Stillwater Watershed Quality division is hosting their Annual Trash-Off event on Saturday, March 26 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Volunteers will meet at the Couch Park Pavilion (1270 E Alcott Drive).
Participants are eligible to receive verified community service hours and an award will be presented to the group that collects the most trash.
The City of Stillwater began coordinating the Annual Trash-Off event in 2006. During these events, citizens take to the streets and streams to show that “Litter is Not OK.” These events continue to enable citizens to volunteer and clean up trash from areas all around town.
Work gloves, safety vests and trash bags will be provided.
Please contact the Watershed Quality division at (405) 533-8482 by Monday, March 21 to RSVP with the number of volunteers in your group. Individuals are also welcome.
