What We're Doing

This project is required maintenance and upkeep to re-paint airfield markings on our primary Runway 17-35.

Benefits of the Project

This is required approximately every three years to ensure the runway markings are visible to allow pilots to safely navigate the primary runway.     

Budget & Funding

This project will be funded with 90% FAA AIP Grant funds and 10% with local funds. 

• Year Funded: FY2018 and FY2019

• Funding Source:  90% Federal Grant / 10% City of Stillwater

• Project Budget: Estimated at $112,941

• Expenditure to date: $112,941

Project Management

Updates

• July 2018: Project begins

• August 2018: Due to weather conditions, completion postponed until Spring 2019

• May 2019: Project Completed
