What We're Doing

The City is reconstructing a number of streets as part of the FY20 Pavement Management Program:

  • Park Drive: (Airport Road to Harned Avenue)

  • Harned Avenue: (Perkins Road to Park Drive)

  • 7th Avenue: (Main Street to Lewis Street)

  • Monticello Drive: (University Avenue to Walnut Street)

Anticipated Milestones

  • Anticipated Date (Design): 3.2021

  • Anticipated Date (Construction): 8.2021

  • Anticipated Date (Completion):  12.2021

Benefits of the Project

Pavement reconstruction is a strategy that is reserved for streets that have failed beyond any form of remedial rehabilitation. It is also used in conjunction with projects when half or more of the street is going to be removed and replaced, (i.e. in the case of a utility replacement).
