SUA Project No. 15WC03, Water 2040
Visit the GIS Infrastructure Map to see where city infrastructure projects are happening.
This project includes construction of a new water distribution booster pump station (19th BPS) on the north west corner of 19th Avenue & Range Road, and 2.5 miles of 12-inch water transmission line to connect the pump station to 44th Water Tower.
The new 19th BPS, water transmission line and 44th Water Tower will establish a new municipal and rural water distribution zone for the area (see map below). This new zone eliminates small temporary pump stations currently used to maintain City Standard water pressure of 40psi at Boulder Creek, Hidden Oaks, and Kenslow Farms developments. The new system also assimilates the existing Southwest Zone developments of Nottingham, Woodlake I and Woodlake II. This new zone will help to relieve the overburdened Southwest Distribution Zone during high demand periods, as well as, lifts the Twin Towers Moratorium for future development growth.
