What We're Doing

The City of Stillwater and Stillwater Utilities Authority will replace the aging West Park Lift Station.

The West Park Lift Station (WPLS) is located northwest of Country Club Road and State Highway 51 (6th Avenue) in the West Park Addition. The lift station is 30 years old, deteriorating, receiving inflow and infiltration and no longer working efficiently. At least 3 lift stations will be evaluated and considered for replacement.

January 24, 2017: The design phase is in progress which includes technical evaluation of the lift station and development of plans and specifications for a full replacement.

November 15, 2017: Haynes Equipment Company conducted a test of the lift station and force main. Results are currently being analyzed.

February 27, 2018: Testing of the lift station and force main continue.

June 5, 2018: The City cleaned the forcemain to insure the pipe was not blocked. Further evaluation is underway.
