The City of Stillwater and the Stillwater Utilities Authority are removing an underground storage tank (UST) discovered during a previously completed water line project on Main Street in 2016.
The work in the area of the UST removal will also include abandoning old water lines on Main Street, Elm and Virginia Avenues, installing new water lines at Elm Avenue and Husband Street, replacing a hydrant, and replacing an inoperable valve.
This project will allow for proper removal of an old UST, and abandon deteriorated water lines in the area.
February 4, 2020: Bid documents and design drawings are being finalized, and staff are preparing the permit application for ODEQ.
March 9, 2020: Project was advertised for bid on March 8th. Bid opening is scheduled for April 8, 2020.
March 20, 2020: Bid was canceled and will be re-advertised in the future.
